The Local Governance Lab is a research and collaboration hub focused on supporting local governments in Nevada and beyond. We partner with organizations inside and outside the University to advance understanding of the unique dynamics of local governance. 

  • Support the Education of Public Officials through public administration programs and non-credit workshops
  • Engage students in the work of government through research and internship support
  • Conduct original data collection and research to inform the practice of public administration in a local context
  • Act as a coordinating entity for Nevada local governments and the entities that support them
